you are absolutely right...still i heard Philippines has got a better goveernment than India, which is less corrupt. is it true

I’m not sure if the government here is better than there. I may not have basis for comparison.
But what we have in the Philippines is a thriving democracy. The mechanisms for checks and balance are well placed to the point that it’s a rather noisy scenario when dissenting voices put out regular clamor - but all in the spirit of democracy. Where else can you find a place where the president of the country is impeached thrice in a year and all three tries failed. :)
BTW, it is so democratic that even corruption is a level playing field. :):) And the huge pie includes foreign aid and ODAs.
We’ve learned all the hard lessons to be learned from a 20-year dictatorship that people are now truly vigilant against a possible recurrence of such.
Needless to say, we have a strong and stable civil society.
But what we have in the Philippines is a thriving democracy.
