Well Aparajita, I think it really depends on the teacher. I think it is the teachers who make them scared. I have been fortunate to have my mother as my mathematics teacher in school and home. As I saw her, I would say rather than making it a chore for them, simple games and puzzles help. Like I was taught multiplication using diagrams. The number of squares horizontally and the number of them vertically. I found that interesting. Finding ways like this really help the kids

there are many innovative techniques coming up to make Maths easy. i specially like the programme that cmes in the channell called TOPPER.its really of gret help.
