‘Chinese side has raised the matter of Prime Minister’s visit to Arunachal Pradesh with the government,’one written reply by External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee admitted. This is a politically burning issue between India and China. There are so many misconceptions growing around the question whether Arunachal Pradesh is a part of China or India. Recently as informed to the Lok Sabha, by the Minister of State for External Affairs, Digvijay Singh, that China has demanded that approximately 90,000 square kilometers or Arunachal Pradesh as a whole belongs to it. There is of course a vital and regular rejection made by the political leaders of India regarding such claims. The concern here is not of such demands but the question of maintaining the legitimate ideals as has been sustained so far.

Not only that, even Kashmir has intervened by the Chinese. ‘China also continues to be in illegal occupation of 38,000 sq. km in Jammu and Kashmir. In addition, under the so-called Sino-Pakistan Boundary Agreement of 1963, Pakistan illegally ceded 5,180 sq. km of Indian territory in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir to China,’ as highlighted by Digvijay Singh. Arunachal Pradesh and Kashmir cannot be ignored. This is a regular cross border trouble faced by both the countries. There are so many summits and meetings held between the two countries but everything seems to go in vain. The political diplomatic meets are done and with equal importance they are all violated. The relationship between China and India needs to be dealt more seriously. This is why the relationship between India and China is never considered as a healthy one.

These types of demands though are not globally accepted yet are the causes for the troubles related to cross border terrorism. These political demands act as a kind of spark among the locals and the fire of terrorism gets enlightened. The small youngsters get easily motivated and the dirty political games begin. The root to any terroristic upheaval starts with these types of confusions among the young people. Thus these types of rumours either should be stopped with some strictness or rather should have some mutual agreements to them.
